Ritankar Bera
Founder
Ritankar brings over seven years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong focus on bridging design, engineering, and execution. Early in his career, he worked on modular housing systems using shipping containers, collaborating closely with vendors and structural consultants to develop efficient, ready-to-deploy homes across diverse income groups.
He has worked with architect Stephane Paumier on large-scale institutional projects, including a 300,000 sq.ft. dining facility, an ambitious exercise in integrating architecture and engineering. Conceived as an exposed steel structure with a layered masonry envelope, the project challenged conventional design hierarchies and stands as a benchmark in tectonic expression. He also contributed to a 150,000 sq.ft. academic building featuring architectural studios, a 1,000-seat auditorium, and a 600-seat moot court, among the first of its kind in a private university setting.
In collaboration with Matthias Goetz, a Berlin-registered architect, Ritankar has worked on multiple sports centres across Switzerland and Germany, gaining valuable expertise in European construction standards and methodologies.
His work reflects a consistent pursuit of clarity, buildability, and a seamless synthesis of design intent with technical precision.
