Tower T6
Tower T6 is a 5,000-seat central dining facility at O.P. Jindal Global University, designed to serve up to 60,000 meals daily. Conceived as an integration of architecture, structure, and building services, the project challenges the conventional separation between engineering and design. A fire-rated steel structural frame remains exposed as the primary architectural expression, while coordinated MEP systems are deliberately integrated into the spatial language, eliminating the need for extensive false ceilings and allowing the building's tectonics to remain legible.
The envelope is articulated through a layered brick façade composed of four earthy tones, drawing from the material vocabulary established across the campus masterplan by Architect Stéphane Paumier. The brickwork follows a pinwheel bonding strategy, creating depth, rhythm, and variation across the façade. Delivered within an 18-month design-and-build programme, the project adopted a hybrid construction methodology where prefabricated steel members were fabricated in parallel with in-situ reinforced concrete cores, enabling an accelerated and highly coordinated construction process.
